Me and the blog

I am a small animal veterinarian based in the lovely county of Dorset (U.K.) I have a strong passion for dentistry and I am currently working towards a postgraduate degree in this very subject! Those who know me can confirm I can talk for hours about my favourite cases or an interesting new study - especially as I find I'm learning something new almost every day!

Veterinary Dentistry is a historically underappreciated subject, but this is definitely changing with many of those in the veterinary field now realizing just what a positive impact oral hygiene can have on the quality of life and longevity of our beloved pets. I decided to start this blog as a way to share all things cool and fun about what is arguably the most amazing part of veterinary medicine (at least I think so!). And it's not just for vet students, nurses and other vets, but for just about anyone who is interested!
